Any suggestions on good soaps to use with the HD foam attachment?

I did, and I would like to say, dont waste your time. If you want to go the garden hose route use the gilmour one designed for the garden hose.

Sorry I just pressed reply and not reply with quote, I edited the above comment and someone asked if it would be worthwhile to connect it to a garden hose. I had issues attaching the HD foamer to my pressure washer so I tried it on my garden hose and it was pointless.

Good deal. That was very confusing. Sorry to hear you had problems attaching to your pressure washer.

Actually I spent 3 days trying to get the right attachments (and 6 Home Depot trips), and now I finally got it working but I am waiting for the sun to go down before I test it. Any idea on the Water:Soap ratio for hyperwash (Megs)?

    Try 50/50.

I bought fittings to make it work with my garden hose and the results were dismal. I used it with my 2000 psi with Dupont car wash soap with good results. Occasionally, Menards has sales on car wash soap with rebates. I bought several gallons for nothing after rebates so keep your eye open for Menard sales. They stock several kinds and all have been on sale with rebates.

Menards is good for those rebates, but keep in mind the rebates are for store credit.

I wanted to follow-up again on what dilution ratios people are using for soaps like CG, Duragloss, Optimum, etc. in your HD foam attachment. Some posts mentioned 50/50 for certain washes, but I always thought that in a foam gun it should be more like 8:1 or 10:1 (maybe that's just for 'real' foam cannons and the HD needs more soap).

edit: just realized that the G-Foam has a relatively small container. I was more thinking of my Gilmour gun (1 quart) in which I was always told to just put in a couple of ounces and the rest water. Not sure how this compares to the G-Foam which looks to only hold maybe 10 ounces (looking at picture online as mine is unopened in box in trunk of car right now).

If I were to guess only about 1.5oz. Smells good too :D

Another note to buyers -- The plastic bottle seems rather brittle. I'm still looking for one of those foam insulators for cups so I can wrap around the bottom. I feel like its gonna break each time I set it down!
