G8gxp how is your paint. It doesn't matter what you use if your paint is not in good condition. IMO if its not 95% + or - a few than its not worth wasting your time with all those steps.

Once its in good shape you could use a fine polish to burnish it. EZ creme has some cleaning abilities. Used with a white pad it will remove very very light marring. Used with a finishing pad it will clean it up. Don't forget about claying first.

Oh I just saw what products you have. IMO I would go poliseal with a white pad, than jetseal, than petes. As much as I like ez creme the poliseal will do more for you in terms of correction.

Dsoto87, the paint is in great shape, that's why I'm wondering if I need the pro polish. Sure I need to strip off my Clearkote combos. Pink moose wax, and CMW, but imagine I could use some of the stuff I already have.

If the EZ Creme has some light cleaning ability this should be enough along with the Citrus wash clear, to get the paint ready for jetseal and Pete's 53. Correct? I just want to make sure before I place my order. Thanks.

    Edited:

Dsoto87, I just saw your post right after this reply. If my paint is in great shape should I still start with the poliseal first?

I guess I'm really looking for a paint cleaner that will be my starting point with the CG combos.

Just start with the poliseal if you want to save time. It will strip whatever is on their and do some light corection.

if you really have the urge to layer stuff get yourself some wet glaze.

Here's what I'll try next detail. Citrus wash & clear, Poliseal, EZ Creme (optional), Jetseal109 and Pete's 53.

    Thanks for the help.

Update:. I ended up buying the jetseal/Pete's combo, the EZ glaze, and a gallon of Citrus wash & clear. CG's sending me a sample of Pro polish, and butter wax.

I wasn't expecting this. Pretty cool of them to do this. Some companies won't send out samples.

I also bought (elsewhere) an 8oz jar Lusso Oro for 25.00, then I picked up some samples from DaveS4. The wash and gloss, and 5050.

I think I'm done for now. LOL

    Again thanks for the help.

    Hi Guys,

Heard alot about CG's EZ Creme, Jetseal109 and 5050 combo. What will the intervals be like in between for each product? Done by hand? Will be keen to try that combo too :applause2:

    1x JS 109 then wait 20 mins
    1x JS 109 then wait 20 mins
    1 x 5050 then wait 20 mins
    1 x 5050 then wait 20 mins

EZ and JS by hand or machine, 5050 by hand

Thanks, meaning I will buff off after leaving them on for 20mins for each step & immediately applying the next one?

Yes and make sure after you buff off to remove dusts with a duster. It will make sure to avoid potential scratches then reapply another layer.

Anyone have any thoughts on Blackfire products? How does it compare to other products you have used?

I've been considering buying their Midnight Sun wax, and maybe using it over jetseal109, or Wolfgang sealant 3.0. Are these two compatable with the Blackfire? Or does it need their sealant to work better?

I've heard some people say that the Blackfire looks great, and have heard a few others say it compares to Pinnacle Souveran sig series. If it's like Souveran, or Fuzion I have those already.

In your opinion is it worth it to buy Blackfire at all.. I'm just wanting some feedback before I buy or not.. Thanks
