I already felt it bud, detail a Civic on Sunday. The high for the day was 46 in the 30's with the wind chill. Need to hurry up with this whole process and get a garage by next winter. Was FREEZING on Sunday.
Definately #2. Logo #1 looks like a generic logo (cough...cough...MS FrontPage) for an online company. You know, the kind who's site you look at for 1/2 an hour and still can't figure out what the hell they do.
personally I would like #3 if there wouldn't be a swift on the X. A plain X would be simpler and better looking imo. I also like #2 but I don't like the way that there's too much test at the bottom. would look better imo without the "revealing..." or definitely put it smaller with logos, I usually think that less is better. I like simple and catchy things good luck
I like #2 with the black background. I thnk the black and white contract really makes the Auto Detail pop! The gray and white is to plain for me. Someone else has said it but as soon as I saw the #1 w/ the world I thought of a tech company. Plus the gray light to dark transition /fading font on the "auto detail" does not stand out enough IMO #3 is good I like the color transition on that one... but it is missing something. Not sure what to suggest. Maybe a rim or something
I was having a hard time deciding, but after looking again, I think numero uno looks the best. I know some folks don't like the globe, but it could imply that you work on higher-end cars from around the globe. Just a thought...maybe add in images shillouettes of higher end Ferrari, Porsche, Jag, Vette, Infiniti, etc.
Pooter, Having no experience in this area, I feel compelled to render an opinion, so take this for what it's worth. First, I am assuming that you have researched the new market and established no competition for this name in the detailing business, or something closely resembling, that would be a nasty surprise. Also, in the same thought, the logos you are contemplating distinguish you clearly from the competitors, no look alike. And finally what about your business style is reflected in the logo i.e. technology, strive for perfection, customer satisfaction. It could be one or more than one of these ideals. So I guess I need to pick one, well I like #3, but that's just me. :support:
