I am seriously debating purchasing a high end wax. The following are my current considerations:

    1) Crystal Rock

    2) Concourso

    3) Mystery

I am heavily leaning towards Concourso on this one. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Tell me what your experiences are and what you think would be best for a weekend warrior. With the discount at DD I can get the Concourso for about what I paid for my Supernatural.

    Thanks!

I vote Crystal Rock, just because of the name.

Crystal and then you are DONE with your LSP's! You're ordering like a madman haha.

Concourso, you will not be able to tell the difference from the other two. This was also proven on another site using the other high end waxes and Concourso always came out ahead.

I have read this numerous times, that's why I was leaning toward Concourso. I think I will go order it.

    Thanks everyone!

Concourso and Crystal Rock are both good, I would say Crystal Rock simply because has a prestigious history and is used by a specific detailer who is globally known for his work.

Concourso is a great wax. I dont think you'd be dissappointed at all. Plus with the money you save, you could order a whole pallet of stuff.

Concourso ordered from Phil at DD.

I have and love Concorso. I have yet to find something (though it's the "high(est) end" wax I have) that is so easy to apply/remove as well as give off the look. Application is a HUGE player for me. And RBOE, while looking better, is just simply a pain in the arse. Where as Concorso gives an astonishing look on some colors, and is so easy to apply and remove it makes it enjoyable, instead of work.

But this is based off of only Concorso. I haven't tried Mystery/CR to give an opinion on those, but I'd like to. With that said, there's an $800 difference between CR and Concorso, if you can swing it, why not? If you're looking for the best value.. just get Concorso.

And now my opinion is negated :p

    Good choice.

that's what I'd order. Personally, it you are cashing out for some higher end super wax, I'd get Zymol Vintage...I'm hearing it is superb wax, and it has free lifetime refills.

From what I recall, it was actually Swissvax Best of Show that came out on top :shead: What really amazed folks was that Collinite 915 narrowly came in second - and is, what, like a $30 wax? :gasp:

Of course, this is assuming that we're thinking of the same wax shootout... :)

You are kidding right, just because his name is on it doesn't mean crap to me. Plus when is the last time you seen him help anyone on the forums besides just show off tools or cars. That right there turns me off about that wax.
