... Wanted to spray Sonax or any wheel cleaner on a totally random car with super soiled rims and clean them up? I do ALL the time.
I once started to clean someones car who I met for like 30 seconds because there was a adhesive film he couldn't get off, I had some tools and products with me (it was a car meet) he opted for a full paint job, it was because his paint had huge chips and dents.
Ohhh yeah, all the time. Especially like on Volvo's or BMW's that accumulate MASSIVE amounts of brake dust on the front wheels.
Yup. Never done it yet, though. But what really grinds my gears (Peter Griffin accent required) is all these Porsche owners who could not care less about their car. I have not seen ONE Porsche (car that is, not SUV or the Panamera which is a monstrosity if you ask me, but I digress) be even slightly clean, forget about swirl-free and scratch-less. This is in my area of course. It's a shame because I KNOW they would love to have someone take care of their car FOR them. It just sucks that it's always on the highway I see them and can't really offer my services.
Nothing like seeing a beautiful 911 spoiled by dark wheels (see all the time) and not dark because they painted/powdercoated them, but dark from the brake dust. If your tires are a lighter shade of black than your wheels, your ownership should be revoked.
