DG 105 along with 601 bonding agent gives great protection. They will have a new product coming to market soon that is going out for final testing now that will catapult it over every other product in the market. Nothing will come close in protection. I have used it and several others here will soon as well. Stay tuned shortly for more info......

that is a bold statement richy. if top sealants last 6-8 months at the extreme..what are you going to get from this product that is so much better? you make it sound like a 2-3 year sealant like that crap detailer in Florida..sorry to put you and him in the same sentence.. i really can't wait to read and see the results.

That's why I am having a bunch of people test it. I didn't want to say anything until more people have had a chance to get their hands on it. From a chemistry standpoint, I guess it closes every link at the molecular level which is very, very hard to do. It gives protection that is much, much better than 105 with 601. Maybe I was a little early leaking this info. More will come, I promise.

I'm no chemist, but we all agree, prep is pretty much everything, but its coming more apparent, that maybe what we use product wise may interact in the longevity of products being used, aka Zaino, Duragloss, etc.

I typically allow 30-60 minutes between coats of FMJ with great results.

I just used Acrylic Jett Trigger today. I am going to top it with a nuba tomorrow, so I can't comment on durability.

I have used Z2 and Z5 for the last 5 years, and if the AJT gets even half the lifespan it is the way to go.

It is 10 times easier to use than Zaino ( or anything else I have used). Pay the extra shipping, its worth it from an ease of application standpoint!

I have the test kit sitting on my desk now.....and after talking to Jerry...I think alot of people will be surprised..and also put a few makers back to the drawing table....its a brand new type polymer...thats all I can say for now..once it warms up I will put it into test mode....

and I use DG..Zaino..and Rocket Seal..Klasse....these all last the best of all I have used and tested...

the new stuff is very interesting....

Also DG 105 with the bonding agent will last as long as Zaino...single coat for single coat...but the DG repels water spots better

I'll be posting up a show and shine with the new product tomorrow night. I used it on a Honda Ridgeline this past weekend and the stuff is incredible.

I like Jetseal109 topped with whatever wax I am into at the moment. I also used FMJ for a long time though I don't think it lasts as long as JS109.

All this talk about sealants lasting 6 months, 8 months, etc... does anyone actually let their car go that long without doing a full detail?? I doubt I would let one of my vehicles go longer than 3 months without getting a new coat of sealant and wax. I'd get bored if I were only doing them once a year!

+1. I can't wait more than 30 days without adding a layer of something on my vehicle. Even in the dead of winter, many degrees below zero, I was out in the garage with my torpedo heater, adding a layer of RBOE. After that was Guru Wax. Then Lusso Oro.

Then just a few days ago, I got to try out a coat of butter wet wax. Next time, she gets a IPA wipedown to start fresh. Then it starts all over...

Something with this sort of longevity isn't for guys like us on our cars. I need it for my clients that want as much protection as they can get before they have to come back for a full detail. And if I have a sealant that can actually get 6-8 months of durability my customers will love it and I can charge more for it.:applause2:
