oooooweeee your going to have a good time with a bunch of vehicles, I'd be booking two weeks of holidays for that amount of vehicles...oh I can just imagine it now...wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast, get ready wife would ask "where are you going deer?" I'd respond with chest out "I'm going to go detail BABY!!!!!!"...oh that would be sweet...aaaaa...what I can dream can't I lol.

Congrats, so looking forward to these details :chest:

I've got 3 weeks to get 5 of them done. My car can happen anytime. I'm thinking seriously about just polishing my door and one fender (they are in the worst shape) and holding off on the rest of the car until the Dodo juice comes in.

So I got started today on one of the Grand Nationals. 8 hours later I'm still not done. On tap for tomorrow is the interior, engine bay, and a couple of coats of wax. I left shortly after I applied some PB's PWC.
I learned a few things today. 1. Wheels circa 1987 are a pain to clean. 2. I REALLY need to pick up a flex or learn how to use a rotary. 3. I also need to learn how to wetsand.

The paint on the GN's are thin, wouldnt reccommend wet sanding them. Several of my friends have GNX's that i clean and the paint is thin.

I'm pretty impressed that it has cleaned up as nice as it has so far. As far as I know it's NEVER been polished. Only washed and waxed. It's got swirl marks on top of swirl marks...LOL

So far 3 down 2 to go. Luckily the last two only need a wash and a wax. I picked up some Mezerna SIP and 106. I like the results that I got with the 106 (just need to get a more powerful machine for some of these jobs). The only thing I don't like about the Mezerna is the dusting. The car I did today was a walk in the park compared to the others. I'll finish it up tomorrow.
I don't like how my hands feel right now. I don't seem to have much strength left in them. I don't think I'll be doing much polishing after today for about a week or so. Just so my body can recover.
Here's a couple of pictures from today's job. I'll post afters tomorrow. Some needs to learn to charge their camera.

And I'm getting some much needed experience. It's pretty cool to find out what products work best for some conditions.
