So I have found a nice place to rent. So I can have my storage, office and detailing service at the same place. The floor in the "garage" section is concret now, and I want to have something on top of it. But I don`t know what flooring that would be best.

Any ideas on this? I would love some pictures :D

I would not paint it ,the reason is living in Toronto where salt is used on roads 4 months in a year,I don't really like to repeat the application every 2-3 years ,I've heard salt makes the paint to flake off( after a couple of years).
The best solution would be the durable plastic tiles offered by different manufacturers like :

Your right, I was just thinking about it.

I have found a company here in Norway that have plastic tiles. Looks really nice. Here are som pictures:

I have epoxy paint on my floor which is peeling and looks like shit. I don't want to repeat a bad experience so I have been doing a lot of reading on this subject. People who live in cold climates need to be wary of the tiles b/c they expand and contract with the temp changes. I haven't found a reasonably priced alternative yet, although I am still looking.

Yea I was going to do my garage with Epoxy as well, I purchased the two kits of the stuff too but after doing a bit of reading not sure if I want to do the Epoxy any more.

I'd hate to have my garage look like your's richy, oh no offense intended my friend.

But I have been looking at the rubber tiles, but yes I read the same thing as richy mentioned. Oh but they aren't cheap at all either but it they sure look nice and the nice thing is that you can take them off anytime you want.

Pirex, I would go with racedeck tiles, I ordered those for my garage floor. They look like the tiles you posted above.

I think that is what I have been looking at. I know the tiles I am talking about can stand both heat and cold.

I think tiles are the way to go. I've no personal experience of them myself but I watched Polished Bliss here in Scotland get their Unit off the ground and tiles was their choice. They researched various possibilities well and the tiles came out top. They look great I have to say. Also, I think they add a touch of the professional look to your operations because it's almost like the car is sitting in part of someone's living room when it's on tiles, if you know what I mean.

And you shouldn't have anything but tiles under an Audi - it's a bit like a red carpet!

I'm sure Richard at Polished Bliss fitted them himself with mates and that will save you a bomb in cash. Don't know how you are at floor tiling, but it might be worth getting a little training and doing it yourself.

It's got to be tiles, and it will be worth it doing it yourself.

For what it's worth I'd suggest darker (not necessarily black though) floor tiles and a light coloured wall. This combo makes for successful photography of your work. Don't have the tiles and wall a similar colour.

Garage floor tiles cost a lot, to paint it right it takes awhile. distrbd and richy, did you guys put the clear coat on too?

I didn't know a layer of Clear coat would go on top!
Have not painted my garage floor yet but it's a small one and if I go with tiles I would not cost way too much I don't think.

 I agree with this statement actually it was Rich at Polished Bliss that turned me to tiles, he posted some really nice pictures of the tiles he got and I have to agree with SURVERROSA they look great, not cheap but like he said if your going to have Audis it's nice to role out the red carpet for it :thumb:

I agree with both of you. So I am going for the tiles.

Thinking about chess style around the "section for the car" and have a black felt with maybe black and two white S. For Scandic Shine.

Still thinking about how to have it.
