Hello all, I received a call from a lady in Canada that has a G500 2 door here in Houston. The car is at a place that does all the legal stuff to the imported cars so they can be driven here. The 2 doors weren't that common here in the states but they were every where else. The top of it is like a 2 door jeep, canvas. I have been going back and forth with this thing for about a month now trying to figure out what to do with it. There are scratches in the fabric like it drove through branches. They wanted to get the top to look better for the client they are selling it to. I have been in talks with Leatherique for their re dyeing product and have it now. I am going to be re dyeing this top maybe tomorrow. I have never done this before but have read up quite a bit on it and feel pretty comfortable in going through with it. What I wanted to ask is, has anyone ever done this? Also, what would you charge to re dye a canvas top? I have no idea what to charge for this. The top is black, and staying the same color. They are wanting the scratches to be less visible and this is what they suggested. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you very much.

Yeah he was one of the first people I was put in contact with from the lady in Canada. We talked for a while and she decided not to use them. That's when she found the Leatherique product. I will use some of the instructions from your post though. Thanks for the info
