Took this photo the other day, just adjusted it with Elements a bit. I really am liking this program!

I usually take my photos in Av (Aperture Priority) mode. The lens was the 50mm f/1.8 with a Hoya filter.

1/400 sec.
F/8
ISO 800

The only thing I did in Elements was make it black and white, adjust it for size and add the border around it!

It filters the light coming into the lens but also protects the glass of your lens!

Oh correction the filter I purchase is a Merkury Optics UV Filter :thumb:

 

Are the filters universal or lens specific?

Ok I just bought the Elements and the Video editing double pack

 

It's a very nice piece of software! I have been playing with Elements yesterday and it's extremely feature-rich. Impressive!

 

WOW great pic! Love the detail and that it is in black and white. I stink at taken pics!!!! Very nice!!!

 

awesome shot...for future refrence, if you care to upgrade, get a UVO filter..the glass is much cleaner...just my .02 ...but great shot
