Looking for a good fabric protectant and was thinking of 303 Fabric Guard or 3m Scotch Guard...I knoe CG has one but not really seen anything on it. Any experiences with the above; how did they work, did it seem to last a decent time? I dont want to really have to re-apply often but evey few months would seem like it would not be much issue.
used 3m scotch guard and stoners fabritec and both are really great products. they seemed to last a while here but I'm sure usage far as passengers go will have a effect on longevity of the products. maybe climate as well.

303 on my seats and outdoor furniture. Last about 4-5 mos. Wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt as the chemical is strong.
Gtechniq has one (I1 ?) and if it reaches the claims of their mainstream products like C1 and G1 it should last for a good while.
I use the 303 on all my boat client's canvas. Its it easy on and works in the harshest conditions. The cheapest I can buy it is at AGO by buying a case of 32oz bottles. Price per 2gallons is $115 shipped...cheaper than the gallon sizes and cheaper than wholesale directly from 303. If you apply 2 coats letting each dry in the sun as per directions, the canvas is almost completely waterproof.
I guess I had a brain fart and should of said thinking of using the protectant on a new sofa I am getting so want to make sure it is ok to sit on everyday for long period of time and will not cause issues. I am looking at 303 and 3m stuff as I have found no user info on CG stuff yet.
