XD 4" compact, not the sub. I still want "some accuracy" LOL

XD-M is nice, I like the tapered slide.........

Pretty much the only handguns I own now are SA's.

^^^^ no messing around here! Ed, you and I will be good friends ;)

HK, sig are the Lambos of defensive sidearms...... flawless fit finish and function.

HK like Lambos. Some dimensions are larger than you think, loud, powerful, expensive, there are better arms to carry daily, and if you aren't careful you'll get hurt.

My pops has a Mark 23; fun gun.

LOL..... well put, I carried a USP.40 compact for 4 years, used a full frame USP for the police academy and its actually a very reliable gun, IMO just as good if not better then a glock. USP's have a thick frame, some people do not like that. All the rage right now is Kahr CW9, single stack 9mm reliable accurate and well made.

A MK23SOCOM is definitely not a carry gun, it is actually used as a primary in some scenarios but its a bad ass gun, I've shot one suppressed and its very nice.

Billy, who did your stippling, its very well done. I see you like ITWB set ups....... I like that holster.

I stopped carrying extra mags, if I cannot get the job done with 9 rounds then Its a no win situation anyway at that point and im already dead. LOL

    karl,

i actually did the stipple myself. if you like to carry IWB and havent tried one yet, i would INSIST you try this holster out if you havent already. its the CompTac MTAC. im a skinny guy, but carry a G19 daily in that holster with no discomfort at all. best of both worlds....you get fine leather against your body, and a high quality kydex shell to keep your weapon secure. you can easily reholster one handed if need be because of the design as well.

agreed on the mags. if i cant do the job with 15+1, im either in a world of shit, or cant hit the broad side of a barn lol.

don't even talk about 15+1, we are neutered here to 10 rounds........ LOL

my buddy makes my kydex, and he has been playing around with ITWB, but for now Im happy with the OTW.......

Alot of the times when Im out with the family I keep it in a maxpedition gearslinger, since I have a 2 year old it holds diapers, guns, and butt wipes LOL plus does not look like a diaper bag.

Holy smokes.... You would never see this stuff (the weapons) walking around where I live, well if you did, you would be wishing you didn't. Only cops and stupid punks would have this kind of daily carry around here.

yeah, if you are not qualified of have any business carrying this stuff, I don't want to see public en masse carrying like this either, its scary enough getting muzzle swept at the range by Dude Bros who went out and bought a glock and think they know whats up.......

and so you know I'm a regular guy but have 20 years of experience, and advanced training, I was a DOJ certified range master and instructor, I spent 10 years teaching people how to properly use a firearm under stress safely and effectively, did requals for CHP, federal state and local agencies as well as instructed soccer moms how to shoot.

I think there is a HUGE difference between owning and operating a firearm, owning is a right in the US, but operating is a privilege.

I don't want people thinking we run around like cowboys with our guns strapped on.

yeah, I wish I never sold my G1 Glock 17, I would have been grandfathered in........ but 1911s stop at 8+1, so that makes me feel a little better about myself. LOL.
