I'm about 25 mins from Chino Hills and it felt quite strong here. Cell phones were dead for a while. That's just how we roll in Cali.
It wasn't too bad. I was at the Chemical Guys factory up in Inglewood and saw the ground roll like a wave. Paul (the guy who owns the yellow Elise) was like "F***, that was one crazy earthquake" lol. It shook everything on the shelves too but wasn't as bad as the 4 accidents on the way to LA though...
I work over in Walnut just a few miles north of the epicenter and it felt pretty good there. It was a pretty good jolt that made my monitor do a little dance on my desk. Didn't seem to last very long though. The girl at the front desk didn't even get up from her desk. I haven't felt one like that in a while. Its good to shake the cobwebs loose every now and then.
I remember the Northridge earthquake.. that must have been at least 13 years ago.. that was a fun one.. it hit at like 3am in the morning Glad all you CA peeps are ok!
