If you think $200 is too much for a light..try the 3M Sun Gun hahahahahaha.

All joking aside, you can always go with the Brinkman it's about $15.00 or less and it works okay...but remember you get what you pay for.

$200? Try $139.95...that is, if Phil @ DD is still offering the GB price.

DSMS, I forgot to ask you how you like your Ace Powerstick. I'm thinking of picking one up after seeing you use yours in action.

Um...no model that's what it's called Brinkman, we can't get it in Canada so Tonya was kind enough to get me a bunch of them :thumb: I think the stores where they can be purchased is called Tuesday something... I honestly don't know the name.

What a car, love the S4! Beautiful. Looks like it's possible to get close to LSP with just M105!

M105 is a great compound and its cuts very well with a fast work time, a little too fast actually so thats why I added a small amount of UF to get it to work longer. Overall its my "go to" compound when the job at hand warrants it. Really a solid product that gets the job done and finishes beautifully.

For $140 its really a good investment if your looking for a heavy duty light. Having never used a SG I cant really compare the CM5300 to it but all I can say is that its an awesome light! I find it works best when you hold it a bit further above the surface, thats when you can see swirls and defects on a much larger scale. The brinkmann wasnt going to cut it anymore and I was going to buy the SG but it was just too much $$$, i am very pleased that I got the CM5300 though, the wide range and brightness really make a difference and no batteries is great as well. I got used to the brinkmann's light fading out towards the middle of my details but now with the CM5300 I dont even worry about it and I can depend less on my 500w standing halogens when correcting. I spoke to Phil @ DD who has both CM5300 and SG and he said he prefers the CM5300 over his SG. Seems like the better machine for less money to me:thumb:
