You guys are really welcome for the review. I'm waiting for the weather to make up it's mind and actually rain so I can get some beading pictures.

 

As promised here are some beading photos. Yes, I actually went out in the rain and took photos for you ladies and gents.

Actually it's not raining hard, just steady.

 

Please do not take any offense to my comment here..and I repeat please....

I my self do not consider that good beading for a freshly waxed paint..to beads are so un uniformed and not tight...and not high...you have pancake beads ..those are what I call a bead over 1 inch and flat.....

Now I have not used any of the high end waxes ,,but have used #16 and collinites and after 2 months i get beads that are uniformed and look like a pea cut in half type size...

maybe the paint is dirty or you live in a area that has a lot of contaminants in the air that eventually lay on the paint...also if you look at some that are starting to roll off..they are leaving snail trails...which to me is paint that's not repelling water effectively...

No offense taken at all. I can tell you the car is due for a wash. I've been out in crappy weather for the last 4 days.

 

I can't see the pics here at work, but I can imagine what it looks like. Workin on my car last night it rained steadily for 4 hours straight and was still raining when I finally went to sleep.

U have any flooding probs where u are lmGTO? I had water seeping up through my basement last night...hopefully it doesn't get worse today...cuz a lot of my detailing supplies are on the garage floor right now!

 

I'm lucky enough to live on high ground. I feel for the people that are dealing with flooding issues. Then again it's spring and that means a ton of rain until about June.

 

I have to wonder if there was bit of user error involved with those pics. I did not wait 24 hours between coats as suggest by the DESTRUCTIONS. I cleaned the car again and applied a coat of PH and BV 24 hours apart and the beading is totally different.
I did a car show in the rain/snow today and noticed the difference in beading.

 

well that may make a difference....you may have hindered the curing process and mixed the two products together and comprimised the the finish....they gine destructions for a reason..to follow....just like I do when trying to put something together..i never read them till i have left over parts and have to start all over again...lol....

anyways glad it worked much better this time...lesson learned..read the instructions....LOL...

Man I have no idea. I was smart enough to be out at a car show in that weather.

Oh yeah there's a pretty good chance I'll be working on the 68 and his 06 GTO when the weather clears up a bit.
