Thank you Bri for the feed back, I was quite pleased with the end result and the way the vehicle was glowing :thumb: Glad you enjoyed it eace:
Hey Nica, I know you didnt use Divine on this car, but while reading your write up i remembered an old post that you did mentioning that the first time you used Divine it didnt last long, but now you figured out how to apply it. haha was this true or did i imagine it, if so how are you applying it differently that now works better?
Yes, that's exactly what I said about my first experiance with Divine. When I used Divine for the first time I applied it to my wife's Volvo. Being the first time I applied Divine, I wasent sure how to apply it and didn't realize how hard the wax was and the whole foam applicator thing really threw me off, I just wasent used to applying wax by foam applicator. Any who what I did wrong on the first application was that I didn't apply enough wax on the panels, I had a tough time getting enough wax on the German applicator. The second vehicle I used Divine on was that Blue Subaru, the second time around I rubed the tub a bit more with the German applicator and got too much wax on the applicator but it still went on nice and thin. I've been keeping an eye on the Subaru, seeing as the owner of the vehicle and I work in the same building and up to this day Divine is holding up quite well. The third time I used Divine was on that red SLK, yet another co-worker and Divine is going strong on it still. So all in all Divine is performing well, at least as well as a Carnuaba can. In my opinion Divine gives off a really nice glow adds great deapth to the vehicle. So far I've only used it on dark colour vehicles (forest green, blue and red) I've been meaning to to a coat of Divine on my silver Lexus to see what it will add to the vehicle...but I can a special wax for the Lexus  Thank you eace:
What a great outcome from your hard work and perseverence. Working through the stickly clearcoat is what separates the pros from the joes, in my mind. Equally impressive is your documentation and write up - repleat with video. Exceptional. One question: where can a person get those Cookie Monster MF cloths? Thanks.
Thank you for the feed back karburn eace: As for the Cookie Monsters you can order them from Chris eShine Canada- Canada's Car Care Leader. He's a forum sponsor and a great guy to deal with, as for the microfiber towels. His towels are the only towels I use, they perform very well, I'm pleased with them :thumb:
dang! nice Job Nica question where did you get those Wheel Woolies? ive been looking forever for one.
Thank you all for the feed back, very much appreciated. As for the Wheel Woolies, I picked two sets of them a wile back, unfortunetly due to yet another patent issue these Woolies had to be pulled from the online store I purchased them from. Once I received my two set, I wanted to order a dozen or two of them and even though my order went through and funds were transfered to the online store, a day or two later I received a phone call saying that my money was to be refunded as they could not sell the Woolies any more  They are great tool to scrub the rims with, shame they are not available to the public though, from time to time you see these Woolies pop there faces, each time under a different name but when they do pop up let me tell you I'll be sure to buy LOTS!! Just a matter of waiting till they do pop up though :waiting2: :waiting2: opcorn:
 I do a search once a month in the net just in case the Woolies pop up, so far no luck but I don't give up easily
Wow, glad I ran across this post by Nica. This was posted almost a year ago. I was going shopping for an 09 G37 next week. Could this possibly be the new self healing paint? Any one know of any more 08's that gave Nica a headache. Or if the 09's have this problem. I was pretty set on getting a black (I know) G37. Nica, I salute you for your courage under fire. I would have dropped by buffer and ran. To say you are looking forward to another 08 G35 takes courage. Hope to get this thread updated. Thanks, Guy's.
how do you like the zymol duster? does it get all polish dust completely off? i searched where to buy it, and noticed auto barn carries it. i have a few around me and was thinking about picking it up. worth the $40 price tag? thanks
Looks awesome :applause: Once my G37 arrives I should take a trip down highway 2 with my detailing stuff to have you teach me :applause2:
Thank you, I'm glad you found the videos and thread helpful. I found the vehicle very interesting and I've got another G37 coming up :thumb: Black colour vehicles are gorgeous when clean but the draw back is they are high maintenance....but well worth it if you ask me eace: I'm very satisfied with my Zymol duster, not a cheap item but I'm very happy with it. I can't remember who said they saw the same duster at a much lower price...just doesn't say Zymol on it...but I can't remember where it can be found :shead: Come on over and you don't need any detailing items, I've got lots of detailing products that way you can see how some detailing products hold up before you purchase them. Congrats with your vehicle, they are gorgeous vehicles :thumb: Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feed back eace:
