when I saw the time stamps on those post, I thought the same thing...wow that is scary. are you two married:catfight:
I have used it two times and from those two times I will say it is a great soap and does really add something to the finish of the car. Now this is coming from someone who does not use gloss-agent soaps ever but gave this one a try after everyone in the UK has been raving about it and calling it the soap (and the reviews seem to back this up). I would say it is a great soap and if you looking for a gloss-agent soap it may be one of the top ones.
So a gloss agent soap makes your car have the "just waxed" look after a wash? Im guessing MG Ultra Gloss has glossing agents too, and DG 902 has as well... How do they affect your wax? and does it leave anything on the surface not idea for a wax to cure properly? I've never used a Gloss Agent soap, but I think it would be a great maintenance wash...Im out so I need to buy something BTW can't I just call CG and order this for $27? as someone else did here.
On special today (3/15) @ DI as daily special. This will be very similar to Ultra Gloss, it looks like the car was just QDed or waxed up and gives nice little shine. It should be used as a maint soap and is 100% wax friendly if you use the 1oz/4 to 5 gallon dilution ratio. If you use more, dont know, but I used 1oz/3.5 gallons and had no issue. As a gloss enhancing soap it will leave something or it could not make the gloss better, but it will not hurt the film later and you should not be washing the car as the wax drys anyways so 12-24 hrs after wax application you will be fine to use this You can, or could order it for $27 but shipping was a killer alot of times and now you may not be able to get it for that price.
It is like any other soap that is not a pure soap (like opt car soap and lusso cars shampoo) it has polymers in it to help provide some extra gloss like a QD would. So yes, like ONR but provides better gloss IMO.
