This is my daily driver till I get myself into an Evo 9 MR, but I just wanted to get this cleaned up a bit as it's had a bit of a history. It's been stolen and hasn't been detailed ever so I found old glass that the body shop never vacuumed and the seats and plastics were pretty grimey. I didn't go full out with this detail, just vacuum, clean up the seats and dash, and applied some leather conditioner. It's my 11 year old daily driver that will be put away for storage soon. I will be re-doing my polishing process and practicing on it though. So stay tuned for that. I'll let the pictures and products speak for itself. This truck brings back memories. Is that a Pathfinder LE? My parents had a 1997 Pathfinder SE with 47k until it got totaled in 2003. It's really cool that you're a detailer but only in high school. I plan on doing the same as a summer job, as I'm also in high school. I've got a lot to learn compared to you, but I'll keep practicing. You do seem a little older than me, as I'm only a permit holder and have to have my parents drive next to me.
Great job on the interior Brendan!!! I love the 50/50 shots of the leather and the plastic surfaces. Dramatic difference!
Thanks Dave! Almost 11 years of grime, and when the cops recovered the car all the windows were opened and it was raining that week...:shakehead: Thanks Phil! Thanks Marc, it definitely was. The Majestic Solutions Leather & Plastic Cleaner is a great product. Thanks! It is an LE, but 99.5 so they changed the front end a little bit half way through. Great truck, but I'm waiting to find the perfect Evo 9 MR:applause2: I'm 17 and just finishing my last exam on Tuesday and then I'm completely done with highschool. In BC our licensing program may be a little different. Once you turn 16 you're eligible to get your "L" and you keep that for one year atleast. When you have your L you can only drive with a person 25 or older and holds a valid license. Once you're done with your L you take a roadtest to get your "N". The "N" lets you drive on your own for 2 years with only 1 other passenger that is not in your immediate family. After your have your N you get your full license...it's a long ass process:hmph:
That's an amazing turnaround Brendan!! :applause: I really enjoy interior transformations. I think I'm the only one here that doesn't mind interiors, but I tend to keep mine extremely clean. I cleaned my leather interior a month ago and I couldn't believe how much dirt was coming off the seats.
thanks, it's a shame that the leather Nissan/Infiniti uses is crap still :waiting2: Thanks! I'd much rather be doing exterior details, but this detail wasn't to bad since I could work at my own pace and this was my own car.
