Hello all, Well we decided to have a day trip to the Transpost Museum just outside Belfast. My son is train mad so we brought him to see what Thomas and his friends REALLY look like!!:thumb: :thumb: I was like a big kid as well. They also had the origional test muel DeLorean and a rolling chassis as well as trams motorbikes Planes as well as classic and vintage cars ant vans. here are a few pics to share enjoy!!!
Thanks for posting the pictures!! I feel (almost) as if I had been there. I know if I had visited I would have had more fun but I enjoyed viewing your pictures. That is for sure!!
Wow some of those vehicles are probaly older then me, they look great though. Hey how did you guys end up with the Delorian? That is the Delorian right? Thank you for taking the time to post the picures and share the experiance with us :applause:
Thats really cool. Kind of sad at the same time though. They aren't cared for anymore. I think it is time for a DB meeting ...we will break in and detail all the cars.
The Delorean is the origional test mule and was taken straight from the test track to the museum in 1982 then the factory went bust! dirt and all it have never been touched from then

Yea they went bust in 1982 amid a drugs scandle and vast over spending the site was sold for 50p or $1 to montupet who cast cylinderheads for ford and PSA I worked there as a project engineer for 4 years and one of my last jobs was to re-instate the old test track for the 25th anniversary of the Delorean got a few good laps on it b4 i left!!!
