Keep your eyes peeled in the Rotary Polishing section today for some examples of popular machine compounds taken out on wool pads by rotary... Just for entertainment! Teaser: From this: To this using MarkV Mystique and MarkV Glisten:
You got my attention with that product with one of your recent show and shines. Too bad it didn't remove the hole...hahhahaha
Wool on a DA I wouldn't personally recommend as the tools dont have the power to wor the compounds and the wool properly... rotary polishers have a lot more power at this level. Faced with marks like that on a DA, you could either perservere using a slow cutting technique with a compiund such as Power Gloss on foam, or you could wet sand using a foam based sanding disk and the polish out the sanding marks which result with a medium abrasive polish on a foam pad. The latter requires a lot of practice and the potential for damage really quite high unless you are confident with it, but the correction is possible.
