Out with friends last week having a few drinks I started talking with a mutual acquaintance about cars and turns out his daily driver was in dire need of some attention so I make arrangements to view and quote the car for a full correction and interior work. The guy was super cool and throws me the keys the same day and says just bring it back when its perfect again.

Upon inspection the cars exterior was very salty (thanks dcdot), rough feel and zero protection so it will need almost everything to bring it back. The interior just needed some wiping and a quick vac.

    Process:
    Wash: Dawn foam+2 bucket Lusso
    Wheels: Brown Royal 1:1
    Engine bay: Adams APC 4:1
    Wheel wells: Adams APC 4:1
Clay: Uber blue w/onr clay lube
Compound: Megs M105/Uber Orange via Flex 3401
Finish: Menz 106FA/Uber Blue via PCXP
    Sealant: Power Lock
    LSP: Swissvax Saphir

    Before:

Light etching from the salt and hard water

Polishing with Q-Tips between the raised letter: (Any suggestions for this short of R/R?)

After PL and SV Saphir: (Ignore the mud flaps pics were taken before final old polish clean-up and black wow to catch the last bit of sunlight)

The paint wasn't BMW hard but not Honda soft right about in the middle.

    Thanks!

Thanks phil most of the supplies came from you!

Thank you I just hope the customer stays far far away from tunnel washers for now on.

Thanks I'm trying to learn how to use all these functions on my dslr but still a complete noob compared to some other guys on here.

The engine and wells were really not that bad so its tough to tell but the harsh smell was nearly diluted out and everything was spotless with light agitation and rinse. I'm going to be doing a complete overhaul of a tracked GT-R next month I will post my results then.
