D2G Detail: 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Lone Star Edition

    Engine Detail:
    Degreaser, let soak for 5 mins
    Rinse
    Degreased again, soak for 5 mins, agitated with brush
    Rinsed
    Air compressed dry
    RL engine dressing
    Air compressed

    Exterior Wash:
    Rinse
    Awesome APC on front end and lower panels
    Foamed CG W&G
    Ulti-mitt with D2G soap in bucket
    Rinsed
    QD spray, then dried with WW

    Wheels, Tires, and Wells:
    Tires and Wells sprayed down with Awesome APC
    Wells got AA tire foam
    Tires D2G dressing
    Wheels cleaned with S100 polishing soap, then QD wipe down

    Paint Conditioning:
    75/25 PB PwS and 106ff via Flex, 6.5 white CCS pad on speed 5
    CG Blitz Sealant via Flex, 6.5 black CCS pad on speed 2

    Other:
    CG back to black on plastic in grill
    D2G dressing on lower plastic panel of front end

    Interior:
    Vac
    APC wipe down
    RL interior dressing
    Mix of RL extractor solution/CG Lightening/Folex on carpet and floormats
    Hot water extraction
    CG odor neutralizer

    VERY NICE WORK!!! Too bad it was a repaint, but that paint is look GOOD nonetheless.

    The guy was in a wreck in which the trailer he was towing ended on top of the truck, while the truck was on its side

    it worked out pretty well to be honest with you... i primed the pad with about 4 sprays, then every whole panel with 2 more sprays. nice even coating, then went back and buffed it right off

    you use more blitz than normal but do you get a more even coat? would you say it is worth the extra product?

    Very nice work Champ, truck looks wicked. Man I've missed details like these, pictures are bang on...same angle, about the same lighting just looks as though you didn't move the camera from the before pictures...yup I remember these types of pictures..that's just wicked :applause:

    Oh the rims look good, nice turn around. Man the interior was bad though, but really like the stripes :thumb: You get some nasty interior thre Champ but you always come through.

    Thank you for sharing, this post brought memorys from AG...good ones too :peace:

    it coated perfect, I probably could of used less, but i wanted to make sure this method would work and it would work with less

    the one thing i forgot to take a pic of was blood stains i got out, the guy was in a wreck. wanted the stains out and they came out

    Hopefully I will get some post up this year. I tried to get a 1946 Pick Up posted ,but I think the pictures were to large. Better Luck next time!:crash:
