New to the forum. Just ordered both the 3/6 and FG400. Haven't used either before. My assumption is depending on the level of fix required (amount of scratches), that I go with the 3/6 first then wax or opti coat. I have a 2012 B8 Audi (arctic white) that has some very light surface scratches from snow and ice. I also have some molasses from the road where they put this down in lieu of salt here in Cleveland. I wanted to get the best shine and wondered what would be the best combination of compounds/ polishes and waxes to go with for Audi paint? Here is my sequencing in the whole thing and the material I ordered. 1. Iron cut 2. 1z inszett bug+tar- remove tar 3. Adams car wash 4. NanoSkin Autoscrub Fine pad - using Griot 6"-speed at 1 5. Menzerna FG400- microfiber cut pad- using Griot 6” – speed at 4.5 (if needed) 6. Sonax Nano Polish 3/6- uber green pad – speed at 3 (or) menzerna SF4000 – uber green pad – speed at 3 7. Sonax Nano Wax – uber black pad Let me know if I missed anything. I have the rims, tires and engine bay covered. Plenty of MF towels too. Thanks for the help forum.
