allright allright just askin' thanks for the advice guys i really do appreciate it, I'm thinking now that maybe rather than just outright quitting i should drop from 20 credits a semester to around 8, be a part time student, that way im not so jammed up with work.
If you're covered under your parents health insurance right now that might cause some problems becoming a part-time student. Junior year for me I was at 19 for both semesters and it was pure hell if I'm being honest.
Everyone here is giving good advise. I don't know what else I can add other then say in school. All my professors tell me this. It might take a long time, maybe not 4 years; but 5-6 years, but it will be something you will be proud of. I am current a junior majoring in mechanical engineering and a minor in energy engineering, I can say it's not the easiest thing in the world, it just takes a lot of hard work. I am planning on taking 5 years to graduate. I just detail on weekends with my brother. Good luck with your decision.
Stay in school man as much as you don't like it a degree is very important. I am in your same situation as I don't like it but am putting up with it. I take 15 credits a semester and work 50 hours a week also so I have very little time to detail much less do anything. But when I finish I will have a diploma which will help me get a job that can give me a salary which I can live off of. Two more years to go for me and counting down everyday it seems like. Anyway good luck, -Corey
