so much so that i haven't washed my wheels in <censored> days! i might go drive around while riding the brakes then hit some dirt roads, mud puddles etc.. :)

So tip for those who having issues with finding a good sprayer for Diablo when cut to a low dilution. p21s sprayer! Yep, I had one of those that come with 5l jugs laying around for there wheel gel and it works great, Just cut the dip stick down to fit in my 24oz bottle and sprays the gel in a nice fan spray without any issues and also in a jet if needed. Just a FYI.

agpatel, did you try with a Tolco Foaming Sprayer yet?

I haven't bothered using Diablo lately....it's not fun to use, I can't see much redness unless it's mixed at 1:1 and it's not very sudsy.

Sticky Gel is a great CG wheel cleaner that delivers well from 1:1 all the way to 4:1.

You all do know that sticky gel is supposed to be stronger than diablo? Also that diablo is more or less a safer version of sticky gel?

I bought some Diablo last week and spoke with Paul at CG , he said it's safer than sticky gel.
Oh and it works great for me at 3:1 Bob

Yes I tried it out, it does foam up, may not as much as a liquid would but still gets some foaming action when cut 1:3-4. I have bottle cut at 1:3 and shows a red/pink tint to it and using the p21s sprayer it works great now to get nice fan spray.

Fo' realz??? That would certainly explain a lot if that is true.

That makes absolutely no sense to me. So its less potent but costs twice the price? And how can it get any "safer" if sticky gel is supposed to be safe for all finishes?

Its either safe or its not safe when it comes to wheel cleaners. It will either etch aluminum or it wont. Am I wrong in thinking this?

zspectrum, where did you hear this

Price aspect may just be because of high demand for the product or a little more expensive to make compared to sticky gel.

On the safe part, I kind of agree with you. Yes you could get safer by diluting it more and less chemicals, then again just plain water would be the safest. Who knows? All I know is that i like the smell of it, works great for my uses, and have no issues.

Either way I still need to get some god damn sticky gel. I was so ecstatic when I saw the price drop and than I had a look in my bank account and, well, you know the story......

my only issue is that sticky gel is $36 a gallon and i use it 4:1. diablo is $64 a gallon and from reading other users reviews needs to be used 3:1. Thats a huge difference.

I was under the assumption that Diablo was stronger? I guess the red color made me think of P21S red gel and a scary name like Diablo... kudos to their marketing department. Guess I will stick with P21S green.

the problem with sticky gel is it doesn't stick well to the wheel even when you use it undilluted. It simply runs, like liquid. To be honest, in this case I'd rather use Megs APC 4:1 on wheels. I just tried Diablo for the first time, and must admit this stuff sticks! I dilluted it with water 3:1, and even at this dillution it sticks very well to the wheel, just like P21S! It smells amazing, and cleans even better. Bottom line - I'm in for a gallon of it!!! This is the best wheel cleaner I've tried up to date, and yet it is very cost efficient. I'm a big fan of gel wheel cleaners!!!

Iv been using sticky gel for a few months now and i use it 4:1 with a tolco foaming sprayer and it CLINGS.

my only problem with it is actually no fault of its own but of the sprayer. The volume per spray is very high on the tolco foamer and i find it to use a lot of product to cover the wheel. still way cheaper than p21s gel but im keeping my eyes open for a lower volume foaming sprayer. im gonna place an order with us plastics and get the widemouth bottles spyral recomended and get the delta foaming sprayer and see if this helps.

I think all foaming sprayers just put out more volume naturally. I like using 16oz bottles but had to change my wheel cleaners to 32oz bottles once I started using foaming sprayers since it went through so much.

btw, off topic, but I love using megs degreaser with a foaming sprayer. It works so well on wheel wells. I just spray it on the wheel well and work on the rims and tires while its clinging there. The dwell time makes things so much more effective whereas with a regular sprayer the degreaser just runs down and drips on the floor

ahhh. this may work out very well for a lot of people. iv been contemplating on getting some victoria red and while on their site just now discovered that they indeed have a low volume foam sprayer. It sprays less than half the amount per spray.

    Tolco Foaming Sprayer

    Victoria Wax - Accessories

I'm gonna order a few and see if i end up using less product. right now the tolco sprays a lot of clingy foam in one spot so i have to spray each rim several times. Hopefully i can use the same amount of sprays with these but just have less waste.
