I see some sort of brownish color on some areas of the car. It looks brownish and seems like its beneath the clear (not on the surface). Its on the bumper of the car, so my PosiTest Combo is not able to detect how much paint is left. I dont want to try polish/compound that area yet. Any advise/ideas? Thanks
If it is underneath the clear coat there isn't much you can do, regrettably. You wouldn't happen to have a picture now would you?
looks like a cat got ahold of it^^^^^Don't ask me how I know this  That or maybe a Mild collision caused the clear to crack :crash: Oh Crap, I just realized your asking about a Spot. Let me take another looksky :duh:
Man its hard to say by the pics, anything I would guess would be mere speculation. How deep are those scratches? I would be more concerned about them then the dots Got any Compound, 2000 grit paper? You might be able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. It looks like he neads a re-paint anyway
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I too would suggest a respray if the owner wants the car back in perfect condition. Im talking about that brownish color if you can see near the middle of the scratches/cracks Thanks
That is from of the lack of color. It needs to be painted. I orderd a black truck from Ford and it was like that in the sun. I did not take it and had to wait another 8 weeks. It just didn't have enough paint on it and you could see through it like on the car in the picture. It just comes down to there isn't very much paint and you can see right through it.
