Well I've been on the phone with a few friends of mine, friends who have access to do an indepth background check on people. Well lets just say that I'll find out the truth about this "scam".

Jason, why did you fake a PhD? Why did you try to get people to believe you were a Chemical Engineer? Please answer this. We all know Carnegie Mellon University is NOT going to misspell words on their diploma. You are a fake, just admit it. I told you I would smoke you out of every hole you stuck your nose out of. Are you beginning to see that I wasn't kidding?

Nica, one of the other people he scammed is a Federal Agent. This guy also happens to be a personal friend of mine. He called me last night and was pretty upset. He is doing a background search on this guy. We already know the CMU diploma is a fake (at 23? yeah, right..doctor..lol) This guy even faked his own death on a message board once, one of the Mustang boards..lol..WINNER!

 

I'd love to chat with your friend as I have a friend who works in the states as well and can get access to a few things and well find out dirt on people.

 

I so love it when a plan comes together.

Whoa! No wonder he didn’t want to sell us one of his formulas! Odd thing is....he didn't do anything illegal this time. Purchasing products and reselling at a much higher price is totally legit. All the other BS can be described in one word...Marketing, companies do it all the time. Fortunately not too many people got scammed this time. Pirex, sorry you had to take one for the team! LOL

one question...for those who melt the wax and then re-bottle it...that doesnt affect the ingrediants...like "burning some of the oils" there for afecting its effetiveness to a certain extent?..just something to ponder

Chris ,,as far as mixing waxes and relabelling them goes,I'm confused about what is illegal here?I know and fully understand though trying to pass himself as an engineer and selling the wax At five times the cost is what got everybody(including myself) angry,I just wonder if the price was around $75 would it have made it easier to swallow.I'm only trying to look at it objectively,it is naive to think what he did is unique and uncommon.

 

The mixing and relabeling is not. The fraud is. I believe it used to be called mail fraud in some states. whether or not a grand jury will indict who knows.

I hope your "fed friend" doesn't get jammed using gov't resources to do background checks for personal reasons...:thumbdown:

Also if the guy relabled products and sold them then I don't see the crime. It happens all the time. My concern would be what he touted his credentials to be.

 

nope, quite a few habve melted down their fave waxes and made a mixture.... double boiler & low tems is the key I think

 

Usually when products are re-labeled and resold aren't the original manufacturers usually aware of it and gave consent? I'm sure for this to be done legally there are contracts and privacy documents signed. If it were OK to just purchase a product and re-label it and sell it then why can't someone just do that for Riccardo Clay and sell it here in America?

 

You do not need permission from a manufacturer to relabel and re-sell (At least not in Canada). Anybody can buy Riccardo Clay and resell it (Pirex does). It still does not get around the patent though in the USA but IF there was no patent you can call us up, order 100 claybars at wholesale costs and call it "Better than Riccardo" Clay.
