Been Kinda Bummed

I should be picking up the motor tonight around 7PM. Gonna keep my fingers crossed. Now I've gotta take my daughter shopping because today is her birthday.

We got it started today, and oh my goodness. I've gotta pick up a couple of small but important parts in the morning and I'll bring it back home.

It's getting tuned tomorrow. The car does not like low RPMs at all...LOL

 

I have not read through the 14 pages, what all was done to the motor you just installed?

 

Had to rebuild the stock motor. New rods, pistons, bearing lifters, camshaft and clutch.

 

with OEM parts or aftermarket? Is it your exhaust that is different, it sounds like it has a more aggresive cam than what I'm used to hearing from those cars.

 

The only things OEM are the block, crank, and lifters. Stock exhaust, but I have headers and catted mid pipes. The cam was custom ground for me.

 

I thought it had the sound of a different cam...
