So I went to Wal-Mart and bought the Autoglym HD wax and I took the applicators out of their package.....they were wet. I read on the package that they are supposed to be wet and to wet them (if they are dry) before applying the wax. Why is that? Also, if I don't use those applicators will I have to wet what ever applicator I use? I have never heard of wetting the app before applying so I thought I would ask. Thanks

  2. Try it both ways and whatever works best for you do it that away. Sometimes I will moist my applicator, sometimes I won't. It really depends on what product you are applying :shead:

Hope this makes sense. Its confusing to me :duh:

If you let the AG applicators dry the will become solid as rock and will need to be soaked in water before use next time.

it helps the application to wet them

Huh, well learn something new everyday. Can I wash the applicator with my towels in the wash?

Sorry, I wanted to say....and dry them in the drier or do I just leave them out and then wet them again before use? Thanks

I think as long as you keep using them with AG HD Wax there is no need for a thorough wash for them. I don't think they will stand one piece after a machine wash.

I used it yesterday and washed in the machine last night. I let it air dry and this morning I noticed what you meant, it was hard as hell. Very weird but once I wet it, it got soft again and I was able to use it this afternoon. Thanks again.
