I am applying with a foam applicator, identical to the yellow one you sell. I WANT to apply it thinner (I apply all my waxes VERY thin, Lusso, P21S, P21S 100, and even my sealants) but I just cant get this one right. Third time using it and i keep messing up (I know its my application since everyones is saying a no pressure towel will buff it off), and I waited for it to haze and everything and still...

    Any tips of tricks?

how about using a porter cable?

or picking up a different wax applicator like the uber red wax applicator.

I do believe applying with a pc will save you time, provide even coats, and save you product over time.

When I did it by hand I put it on too thick and it was tougher to get off... With the PC I used a black pad with the PC set on 3 and just applied like I would a liquid wax, I try and let it sit at least 30mins, 1hr if I can and it comes right off.

Oh and I have NOT been able to get the stuff out of the pad, so now it is PL only pad :) I store it in a bag in the fridge (not sure why the fridge so don't ask  )

Well, I will try that out soon, and I do have a LC Red pad spare, aww heck might as well ;) I'll give that a go, its just I'm so used to applying by hand. Might try to get an Uber red too.

ive put powerlock on by hand and let it sit overnight before buffing it off with no issues at all. it wiped right off effortlessly.

Maybe I'm just doing wrong!? Im used to putting some pressure on the applicator, should I refrain from doing so to get it thin? It could be that APC that spilled during shipping but it only looks like it affected the label slightly. Lastly, mine has a red top, I've seen pictures only with a black top any reason for it?

YouTube - (Pt2) Menzerna Power Lock Review This guy (from the forum here) did a good job applying and showing it. Makes me wonder if mines weird. It doesnt go on oily and smooth, but rather grabby and I swear I cant get it THIS thin... Giving it a shot again tomorrow, if not AG is getting a call :(

Powerlock by hand does feel grippy and go on thicker by nature. Apply with LC Gold or Uber Black on PC set at 3 and you're golden. I've left it on for 16 hours ( 5pm - 9am ) and it wiped right off.

Well tried it again and it went on smooth, but I found my solution. It was to apply in circular motions (dont ask why, but it helps a lot in terms of how thin and how easy it comes off) but this was on a layer of MPL from 3 weeks ago, so I might strip everything and try again.

I usually dont apply circular motions but this is the only exception, but hey, IT WORKS!

I also shook the bottle for 2 min to help as I know Collinite changes viscosity and MPL did slightly so it may have also helped this time.
