Found it on AG forum, went to ADS and saw it there that it is going on sale in a week...thought I ask to see if anyone has any insight on it.

FMJ talk make out because people think Menzerna makes FMJ, but they do not and it a sealant that CMA (a detailing company that owns Blackfire) got made and got the rights to put the Menzerna name on it.

Now this sealant pops out of pretty much no where...

I think that this would be a good time to formally introduce our new Power Lock Polymer Sealant to the forum! An announcement was made to our distributors to give some notice about the new product, and we didn't even have a chance to provide any details or a good photo before it hit the web!

Power Lock Polymer Sealant is a MenzernaUSA offering based on our specs for a high-performance sealant to provide customers with an easy to apply, long-lasting, high gloss clear coat protection product. Used in combination with our polishing system, we now have a comprehensive product line for the detail/reconditioning market.

If there are any comments or questions I look forward to hearing from you. Hopefully the weather improves so we can see some of the product in action and your reviews.

    Best regards,

    Jeff

I'm looking forward to trying this new product! I have a few questions if you don't mind tending to/clarifying when you have time.

Is this a product in any way, shape or form a part of Menzerna GMBH; the creator and manufacturer of Menzerna polishes?

It is my guess that this sealant is manufactured here in the states and distributed/labled by Menzerna USA?

If that is so, it's technically not a "true" Menzerna product like people are visioning being parallel to their polishes.

Menzerna GMBH donĀ“t have the skills of polymer technology, but they are bad ass on abrasives :thumb:

Wouldn't it be better to purchase from a forum sponsor (DD)? :)

As promised I applied Power Lock to my own car.

    Some results.

Machine on with the DA speed 4

Let it cure for about 30minutes (entire process was done outside)
After buffing off, came off clean, no streaking

Excellent depth and clarity, really impressed me

After its second use in 2 days this product seems to be all that, the only thing left to see is the durability and this week should be mostly rain which will be a good initial testbead.

Will keep you all updated but for now this seems to be one of the better sealants I have used... and I have used just about every kind

Hey DSMS, did it add warmth or brighten the paint? How would you compare it to GI sealant?

Better than GI so far, and the application is easier and there is no streaking even on my soft paint non metallic.

I hear this was designed to simply outperform everything on the market and with that last like a manic. Its raining here all week so I will let you know, the car is perfectly clean with 2 coats in the garage, tomorrow the rains will fall.

GI Finish, or Concorso? Outside of durability how does this stack up to your favorite sealants, like BF and Z?
