I'm fairly new to this Formula 1 but so far it's been good, still need to learn a few things but I can see it's very technical and it's wicked. Monaco was a great rase but I wax expecting more...I mean it was very nice to see the technicality of the course and the drivers did well but no one even came close to challenge...um..what's his name..the guy who ran to the finish line..sorry don't know the names....is it Button? Any who I'm sure you know whom I'm referring too, it was great to see Ferrari finish third..but I was expecting more from Maza..he had the fastest lap but maybe it's just me not understanding the technicality of Manaco but I was just expecting more. The Spain race was wicked, despite Maza having technical problems but I enjoyed that rase more then Monaco...any one else feel this way?
I got a question, Thursday and Friday I saw the races...come Sunday I couldn't see the race on the Speed channel? But then if I forward my guide to Tuesday, it show's up :shead: am I missing something
FOX has coverage of some of the races, and this was one of them. If you can't pull it up on the tube, you can watch it streamed live on ROJADIRECTA, ver partidos de fútbol gratis en directo por Internet, recién finalizados y video resúmenes. SopCast TVants Veetle Justin Mogulus Ustream... :thumb:
So just wondering the Speed channel wont show the races? Is it a broadcasting issue? I don't think I have Fox but I'll double check...I'll give that link a shot michakaveli thank you for sharing it eace:
Yea, FOX buys the rights to air it on their channel. It's the SPEED commentators anyway. I do what I can :computer:
I've been watching a few races now and this Fox thing is a pain.....so question for you guys, those that have Dishnetwork what channel of Fox is the Formula race on? I think I'm going to add what ever the channel or package it is and be done with it. I see the practice run and the position race but then I can't see the race and have to wait several days for it to be shown on Speed I Just had enough, they win I'll just add the bloody chanel(s) but I need to know what channel it's on so I make sure I get it. By the way this Formula 1 thing is addicting, the vehicles revving up to 18,000 RPM, the noise they make and the fast speeds not to mention the lap times is just too much to ignore, I'm hooked on it now :thumb: Wait, I just found a site that says Fox has to show four races, this year the following races: Turkey, Britain, Germany, and Hungary taped So does this mean after these four races Speed will be showing all the races? That's what the site says, any one know if this is true or not? I remember someone mentioning this before..I think :shead:
Yes, you can relax and know that F1 will be back on Speed the next race and for the rest of the season. I couldn't wait for this to happen as i don't like the delay and that coverage to me seemed to suck on Fox. I just wish they would go true High Def and do something like WRC Rally who signed up with Discovery HD for next year. Good to see Hamilton win a race again and battling the Ferraris (Raikkonen). Also great to see Alonso on pole and leading until unfortunately his front right wheel broke off after what turned out to be a less than good pit stop. Prayers for Felipe Massa, hope he recovers quickly from that freak accident in qualifying.
Last I read the docs dont know if he will be able to come back to F1 or not, which is pretty sad. I do hope Massa can make a recovery and get back into F1.
I agree the delay is way too much to take, I can't stand it any more. The qualifying round for the Hungary was wicked...shame what happened to Massa though, what are the chances that the spring would hit Massa on the head though, out of all the areas to hit Well hope he pulls through. I would have to agree it would be nice to see the Formula 1 on true HD :druling: So um..any one know the channel for Fox though on Dishnetwork?
Doesn't amtter what network airs it, it all depends on the equipment filming the event. Every race they have shown on FOX this year, has had extremely bad lag, you basically can't watch the race, but hope for the best. Now the non-HD channel was fine, go figure. Either way, on the HD channel, at least the picture is in widescreen now, a huge step-up from before. It will all come in due time. The WRC on Discovery should be SWEET.
I have to admit, the last race in Hungary was wicked. Hamilton was mind blowing fast, compared to the other races in the past, his vehicle was transformed from not being competitive to coming first wow. I'm definitely looking forward to the next race and not to mention I'm anxious to see the legend of Formula 1 making a return :worship2: Best part, no more Fox delay...I hope aranoia:
Nica, Don't know if you have come across this site or not, but it's been a fairly decent site with regards to information and a good forum. PlanetF1.com
