hey everyone, this exterior detail was done for my gf's mom. Its a 2009 i believe Ford Edge. Truck is in overall good condition with just some minor scratches and swirls. Today was only supposed to be a wash and wax, but i corrected a few spots as well. Looks great man, especially the wells and all that darn trim.. These only catch my eye when they are clean for some reason. What did you use to correct it?
thanks! sorry i forgot to put it up. To correct the scratches i used SIP on an orange pad and followed it up with 85rd on a black pad. i didnt do a full correction on the car btw i just did spot correcting
Well good for you for showing reservation then too. If I ended up spot correcting I would have a very hard time not going over the entire car for a quick pass with something.
haha believe me i tried really hard not to. My gf kept yelling at me saying dont go crazy on it so i didnt :shrug:
Yeah, that's how it starts...just going to correct a spot the size of a dime. Then, you decide it's better to work the entire section then, the entire panel then, next thing you know, you're 18 hours into a four hour job the beer's all gone, it's dark out and your wife won't let you crawl into bed until you take a shower!!!!:yikes:
