Got a call from this client after he saw a black CTS I corrected for his neighbor. He wanted me to clean-up his wife's MDX. Car is really hammered and in need of a full correction but we settled on a 1 step correction. Car sits outside 24/7 and had everything a detailer could ask for, RIDS, Marring, Bug and Bird etching, and holograms! And the best part......it's Black! But being an Acura, I know for the most part, paint would be on the softer side. This was no different. With the Flex 3401 and Optimum MF pads, I new this was going to fairly easy! Interior just got a vac. and wipe down. Dawn/PC wash Clayed with Clay Magic Flex DA Opt. MF Cutting Pad and Opt. HP/D301 ONR wash Perl on the wells Opti-Sealed 50/50 Somewhat
Great work as always. I'll be working on a black MDX as well here soon after the owner gets his back window replaced and some pdr done. Some punk kid threw a brick through his window :shakehead:
MDX's are wonderful to work on. I did a test spot for a client the other day abd with my PCXP mind you on a orange uber with SIP i was able to achieve a good 80% correction and finished down perfectly. Great job on that car though. Im sure your client was super happy.
Nicely done sir, HP/D301 seem to be working well for you. I just ordered 2 bottles of HP as I've never used it, looking forward to it! -Kody-
Looks great!! Can't imagine owning a black honda/acura product. Just wondering ... is there a reason why you prefer mixing HP with D301 instead of GPS?
