As some may know, I'm a Soldier (a US Army Chaplain to be exact). "Car Washes" are common ways that units raise money for their family programs. However, as a detailer (even one as bad as I am) I generally cringe when I see what they do to cars. Got me thinking, wouldn't it be great to teach Soldier's how to detail and involve that in a fund raiser. Soldier's (especially young ones) tend to spend a lot of money on their cars relative to everybody else (housing and food generally taken care of ). Thank you for serving our country! I think it would be a good idea too. Have some professionals show what needs to be done to properly take care of their car. It would also make sales go up for the professionals who did it if they owned a detailing supply company because of the products they would be buying from them after learning the proper technique.
