A visit to Chemical Guys...

When I made a decent order from CG..Paul was outstanding telling what to use and when....he is very informative on every product and he does not try to push stuff on you..he will offer a sample of it to try instead....I have not had a product from CG's I did not like...between DG and CG these are my main products...Menz of course for polishing...I do have a few of the CG polishes and very happy with them also....

I know what you mean! I have the full, high resolution pictures and I was literally scrolling by every single inch of those shelves to find out exactly what they all were!!!

Phil is lucky that he can just walk in there, peruse around and grab what he wants!

ahh i love going there...Paul is great and freakin hilarious...he can chat up a storm...perfect when i go there around 4pm...we can BS about stuff til the traffic clears up on the 105!

So I just wanted to clarify....

Because a few of my friends are having a discussion and want to make sure I have my info straight.

I was told that SmartWax is re-branded Chemical Guys products?

Is there truth to that...or is that just the perception?

 

partially true but only because they were both originally conceived by Paul...I find some of the Smartwax products works better than it's CG sibling but a few of the products were essntially rebranded (eg. Smartwax ONE, claybar, SmartGel etc). I was told the ingredients that goes into Smartwax products are of better quality...hhmmm?


Yeah you can chat with Paul for hours about detailing products, cars and virtually anything under the sun...nice chap :bla2:
