Was referred by a friend to see if I could take care of a scuff on his sisters 12' Bmw with less then 1000 miles :giggle: She received a quote of around $1000 to repair the job and she felt there can be something else done. Product Used: M105 M205 Menz SF IPA Menz PL Lusso Oro Wax Equipment: Flex 3401 DD Yellow Pad DD Green Pad Swissvax Applicator Fenix TK35 Lower fender area that meets the bumper. The bumper is missing paint and there was nothing I could do. Mid fender scuff After 2 passes with M105-Medium to heavy pressure(Yellow pad)one with M205-Light to Medium pressure(Green pad), then finishing up with SF-Light pressure(New Green Pad) as there was micro marring on this Carbon Black Metallic. About 90%+ Correction for a huge fraction of the price.
Looks good man. The $1,000 quote i'm sure was sanding and repainting nearly half the car which is what they would need to do in order to blend the paint but you fixed it and it looks fantastic without a repaint which is even better.
Thanks, what's funny is that the car has all the Parking assist options and a sensor about 4 inches below the scuff. Must have turned it off.
Great job on making that so much better !!! It is getting so hard to get a decent repaint, what you accomplished is always the best alternative ! Thanks for sharing ! Dan F
