Thanks for the info Ken, what is your experience on GTIs, I see you have a red GTI MKV on your homepage, I have the same car. I know that for any correction I was having to use SIP/Org LC pad and 2 passes to get some decent results. Have you done a few of those cars with lets say the GI polishes?

Guess I will look around and see what I want to do and make a order by Winter break.

That car was brand new with dealer installed swirls so only needed Power Finish on Green LC CCS to clean up. I just did my brothers brand new MrkV. Delivered from the dealer with ZERO miles on it. 15 hours with Megs 105 on a GI wool pad. Nasty. You will probably find the GI polishes a little more user friendly and the GI pads are a dream to use.

Maybe I'm crazy... but my 3401 DA only fits 6.5" pads?? (with ample room so the edge of the BP isn't at the edge of the pad, increasing changes of damaging paint)

Early 3401 had a larger BP, then you could get the smaller one if you wanted it and all sold after were smaller. this is at least what ia have picked up on recently.

Weird.. 'cause I just bought mine about a year ago

Can you buy the smaller BP's directly from Flex or maybe Phil @ DD?

You can give Flex a call, I know AG has them for sale but I thought that Flex was sending them out if you got a older one. NO harm in calling them up.
