im looking for help on the cars paint. if anyone who is fimilliar with the 140 body mercedes. 1996 and up mercedes began painting the cars mono-tone. therefore the bottom panels and bumpers of the car are the same color as the rest of the car. but if you look at it the bumpers and plastic panels at the bottom of the doors are not as glossy as the rest of the car. now im concerned that when i polish the car. im using menz intensive polish. that it will change that. and of course its supposed to be like that so i want it to stay that way. will i have a problem. im honestly hoping that someone has detailed one of these before. but i have a feeling my chances are slim to none. any help is great guys.

If they came as glossy as the other panels originally, you should be able to restore them now, I would think. You're using Menzerna, you're 1/2 way there already!! Good luck.

they did not come glossy like the rest of the car. tey came from the factory like that. the cars paint is in already immaculate condition for being 12y/o just sone very fine swirls and a scuff on the drivers fender. i have aqquick question tho. is lusso revitalizing cream a fine polish? ill be recieving that tomorrow with my intensive polish and lusso oro and 5.5" pad kit and backing plates. i cant wait to get started.
