They are clearcoated so you polish them the same way you would paint.
Mazda paint tends to be soft.
In my experience, mf pads cut faster and clean out easier. For softer paints foam is still needed though.
Just to update this... Eshine was kind enough to send out a replacement so hopefully i'll have better luck with the new one.

I use PoliSeal on a orange pad which will clean up the paint nice and remove marring and minor swirls.
