    Heh we even have clearcoat that is polishable 45 min after application....air dry!

    Polishing is not a problem, just dont put any wax or sealant for at least 2 months, since the clear can take from 30 to 90 days to fully cure.

    On verry damaged paint, i prefer a quic damp trizact pass (1500 followed by 3000), then follow wit a mid cut compound. I just....hate dust too...
