No sealants for me. Just Collinite #845 and let cure topped with a layer of AutoGlym High Definition wax. If you absolutely want a sealant, I'd say go for the Blackfire Wet Diamond All Paint Sealant...mostly because it was recommended to me by Ken @ Autowerkesexclusive and it's the only one I've used so far :p

MPL has never let me down, I still have about 3 oz left of BFWD........ not sure if I am going to go with a coating or traditional sealant on my new truck. I am loving the permanon on my wifes jetta though.

Do you think Permanon can make it through the winter up North?

Sealants would be Wolf's Body Wrap or Menzerna Powerlock.

    Wax would be Collinite 845.

    All 3 are great products.

845 topped with AG Hi Def or 476. Bulletproof. Period.

Even 476 alone will outlast a canadian winter!

I've covered my car in two layers of 845 for this upcoming winter. If it starts to fail, I'll reapply mid way through winter.

if you are looking for winter protection I'm assuming you are looking for max durability product. While there are too many choices out there I will agree with Roger - give wolf body wrap a try. It is very impressve and very durable nano sealant. Although there are many other choices out there wolf body wrap would be my first one (ask me what I will be using to protect painwork on my e70 2009 bmw x5, it will be wolf body wrap. Although menzerna power lock it a great sealant I highly doubt you are gonna get 6 month from even 2-3 coats. Collinite 845 would be another great choice, as well as 476s.

I'm not sure about 476 guys, I tired it on my brothers Ford Probe and in SUMMER it only lasted about 2 months with no excessive washing. AND it was a B***C to apply and remove. I'd stick with 845 which has proven effective time after time for me.

I'm giving AQuartz Nano a try this year. Unfortunately, last winter the snow fell before I could seal my car with 845.

I'll be using my favorite WG DGPS 3.0 on my wife's Acura 3.0 CL, and the same on my 2012 Nissan 370z as soon as i take delivery. I'll top my 370z with two coats of WG Fuzion too.

I just don't like Collinite, pain to use and looks like it needs something. BFWD, POXY, AG HD all are better. I've got that new 3D Nitro on my car and my daughter's. So far it looks great, looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

Not a sealant but I'm surprised at 1Z Glaz wax. It's been over a month and this still beads well in harsh conditions. I park outside everyday and have gone through mud, rocks and rain; add a brushed car wash through the local place and I feel that the Glanz should be gone. I come out today in the rain and find it still beading fine on the doors and side panels with bigger beads on the hood. I want to do another coat and see how long it really lasts!

It's a sealant and a wax. It's a hyrbid sealant that also contains carnuba, it's def some good stuff. I'm honestly on the fence on whether I like that or BFWD more.
