So just letting you guys know that I am leaving Canada and moving back to Hong Kong for real now. I have 2 interviews lined up, and still have to throw more job apps in soon. I am ocean freighting my stuff back so I only had to get rid of my PC and i am gonna leave the pressure washer for my mother to use to clean them vehicles. so if anyone needs anything from Hong Kong, let me know =p
yep IT jobs, quite a lot of opportunities back in HK compared to Vancouver as the job market here is mostly start ups the only problem is complying with some posting's language requirement lol i be like shiz chinese but yeah i have like 8 boxes packed already, gonna wash my vehicles one more time then packing the bottles and stuff. also convocation on Monday, so busy.
Aldric, I wish you the best of luck and hope you get whatever you want! You'll still be on the forum regularly right?
yep bubble wrap n peanuts yeah all im losing is really a garage and gaining intensive heat and lots of mosquito LOL ofcourse times im on will change and working hours will dictate how awake i am too, its quite normal to work from 9am till midnight in HK. sure! just let me know when you visit.
I hope everything works out for the best. You will still be a member of DB once you get settled in wont you?
Wow you don't mess around do you. I hope it all goes well and it's not too much of a culture shock, show them that us westernized guys aren't soft and lazy and can hang with them. Best of luck!
im flying june 6th but my stuff are getting freighted on the 3rd. I probably should get a few last gallon order in but I may just order from HK or find alternatives, probably dont have enough time to repack/seal/etc my computers will part me for like 2months, thankfully I am able to catch the June ship, hopefully I'll survive with my macbook long enough and yes my love for cars+detailing will not change even if I have to do it in a parking lot so i'll still be around luckily I actually went to high school in Hong Kong so not much of a culture shock, will just be picking up pace again as Canada is fairly slow compared to Hong Kong, at least i'll be able to live the life of public transportation without having to worry the next bus not arriving even if I live like an hr public transport away from the main city lol
