[You're probably contacted more than once a week from a company promising you the first page of Google.
Don't ever sign up. They will either:
    1. Create a pay-per-click Ad words campaign for you (you can do a better job yourself for half what the "brokers" charge).
    2. Place you in a directory like yellow pages or city search that hopefully will appear on Google page 1. You now have 2 layers of separation from Google searchers and very slim chances of getting traffic.

And for this "service," they will lock you into a 12 month contract that you will regret.
I can actually get you on the first page of Google for the term "[your city] car detailing." I wouldn't charge you "initialization fees", "research fees", nor would you sign any contracts.

I wouldn't ask for payment until we reached page 1; You only pay when you reach page 1. There would be a monthly fee to keep you there, but no contracts...cancel any time.
Depending on the city you service, being on the first page could be worth $500 - $3000 a month in detailing business.

Would you pay for first page rankings? How much would it be worth to you?
I'm thinking of starting a search engine ranking service for detailers and am gauging interest] 602 rwtq

Nope. I think it's just as big a racket as insurance. Just my .02 though.

they call it "competative pricing", I call it a 10 skin rip off...I don't need any of those brokers, see what they have done to real estate market? Remember the fraze "your house will go up $100k in just one year"? Where is housing market now?
