First I want to put a shout out to Ken @ Autowerkes for helping me get set up with the Griots and B&S pads and a bottle of Menzerna FG 400...They arrived on Friday and ive set aside Monday and Tuesday to play...

Secondly....The Griots came with a small bag containing what looks like 2 counter balance weigths or electrial points, im not sure. Can some one let me know what these are?
Third... About taping, does green or blue painters tape work or is there pro tape that you use? Or should I even bother?

Thanks for the help and let the fun begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to the club,

Not sure what you are refering to with the GG polisher, could you post a picture of it?

And as for the tape, I've always used blue painters tape with no issues, not sure what other people use.

The "electrical points" are a spare set of brushes for the motor. Store them somewhere for safe keeping. You shouldn't need them for a long time, depending on your usage.

Taping is worth the time so you don't have to go back and clean compound/polish/wax off rubber and trim

I use the green tape. You can get it at Lordco. Should be one near you.
