My cars are so dirty!!! I cringe at taking them to the hand wash, wish you were closer LOL. I might wash them in the rain tomorrow lol
What's your pre-soak mix? Say it has OptiCoat on there, what would you use to be as safe as possible?
If it's opti coated, I don't see why you can't use an APC mixture like Adams with a pre soak like AF Avalanche in a foam cannon. And for tough spots I've had great results with AF citrus with a high pressure rinse. Although neither of those seems to be what Phil did on this wash.
our presoak is done so we don't "touch" the car as much. that being said we do a traditional wash after we remove 70% plus of the salt and grime. Presoak is a combo of P21S Total Auto Wash Sonax Fall Out Remover Then a final foaming with Auto Finesse Avalanche if your foam gun/cannon. After a good spray wax/sealant - for this service at the shop we use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer

I was finally able to wash both my DD's today. Rinsed with fireman's nozzle (no power washer yet, on my list) Foam cannon with CG Citrus Wash and Gloss Rinse again Pre-soak with Durgaloss Rinseless with Aquawax Wash with mix of Duragloss RWA and 902 Dry with MF WW towel and Megs D156 Both came out great, but ton of tar and iron specs even though both are coated and topped
we have been using decon gels on coatings and if the coatings are installed correctly there will be no negative effects on it
