i was trying my waxes that i got from denzil. and applied collonite 845 using my hands. is that ok? is there any health risk with that? what other inexpensive waxes can be applied by hand i have p21s with applicator and CG petes 53 without applicator. couple other samples from Denzil as well but didnt try all yet
I would say you shouldn't apply 845 by hand simply because you should probably spread it as thinly as possible to make for easier removal.
IIRC, it does say it contains petroleum distillates. That was the only other warning I remember reading besides the FLAMMABLE warning as well.
Why exactly do you want to apply them by hand? Did you see any benefit by applying the 845 by hand? I know vics red can. My hands are probably more scratchy than my worst mf though. I can't see it being applied thinly and evenly either.
maybe it wastes less product since it doesnt get stuck in applicator and stuff. and you can actualy massage it in without scratching clear since you would feel if there is something got on surface. maybe its just feel of sleek paint that feels good (as gay as it sounds lol), hey, divine and some other waxes are applied by hand, as far as i heard that heat from hands benefits how wax is applied or something like that
you waste lots more by hand. No way I'd put 845 (or any Colli) on by hand. There is nothing natural about those products and they seem stuffed full of nasty solvents etc so wold keep that well away from my skin
Applying 845 by hand is verboten! You do not want all the solvents being absorbed into your system through the skin. On the other hand, 845 sure is great to sniff! It's even better than airplane glue. :dizzy:
