well. little disappointed i guess. got uber pads, some holding up good and some not. not sure whats wrong. one of problems i see is when you take pad off PC you have to be very careful because sometimes Velcro backing separates from foam because there is not enough Velcro backing to grip on to tare pad off. second is when you polish, somehow BP cuts into pad and creates groove, this is kinda good from one side because backing plate is protected by foam but not sure how long pad gona last. im gona watch for rest of uber pads to see if i keep getting this problem. if i do, ill probably switch back to LC

is there something im doing wrong or others have this problem. i understand smaller velcro area is there for protection but it seems will effect pad life as well

I've seen this happen with the pads that are made with the softer foams as well. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the harder foams, though. The Velcro area needs to be a little bigger on the softer foams to prevent the tearing.

I sometimes have issues pulling the pads off but as long as i pull on even a little bit of the velcro it works. what i do is semi roll the edge of the pad over then kind of roll the velcro off a little until there is enough to pinch and grab then RRRRIp. :0)

And OMG the Lake Country Snappy Clean Pad Cleaner in a bucket is amazing! pulls out all the product.

Other than blowing thru the orange pads...Uber has done me well!!

i have the 4" pads too, and i use em with the gloss it backing plate which as some pretty damn strong velcro. i've never had the problem that you are having though.

I like the fact that they don't eat a lot of polish like the lake country ones tend to do, but the orange uber pads don't last really long.
