As the Monaco Detailer has already mentioned, Swissvax UK is pleased to announce two new waxes in the Swissvax stable, Blau-Weiss and Glacier. Both contain 40% Brazilian Grade One carnauba by volume and both are priced at £80.

Blau-Weiss has been specifically designed for BMWs. The advantage of being able to tune a wax to a specific paint system that the marque uses is in highly improved longevity and the potential for a solution for typical paint problems of the marque - in this case the highly scratch sensitive finish of the X3's new paints. In general terms, the shine you can expect will be on a par with the other premium waxes in the Swissvax range - eg Saphir, Zuffenhausen etc

Glacier has been designed for white cars AND ONLY WHITE CARS. It contains a highly dirt repellent formulation to combat the effect and appearance of the ugly black runs you get on white after rain. It has also been designed to make a white look very shiny.

OOh man I really want the BMW specific wax even though it isn't the most expensive. It would be nice to have a wax "formulated" for my paint. :applause2:

Man o man. Always something new to try :( I have a white BMW, so I guess I need to try them both :yikes:

E46 M3. I think I just enjoy trying new waxes too much as well :thumb:

Nice! I plan on getting an E46 M3 in the next year or two myself. I just can't bring myself to decide what color I want, but I have a while to decide.

I think everyone likes trying out new caranubas. :thumb:

Great cars! I am on my second one. First one was Carbon black metallic. Both with Cinnamon interior which I absolutely love!

There is a chance they are brining the Cinnamon back for the E92 M3 for MY2010. If so, that will likely be my next purchase! :thumb:

I always laugh when I hear these stewpeed brand- and color-specific BS. How does the poor wax know if it was wiped on a PPG, Glasurit, BASF, DuPont, etc. paint?

BTW I think only true Bavarian BMWs qualify, American made ones don't count - especially because different manufacturing plants use different paint suppliers. For example Renault/Dacia uses two different suppliers for their chip resistant undercoating and their paint finishes.

Yeah right now I am debating either getting another jet black car in addition to my sedan (will become my DD) or getting silver grey.

I have always loved Cinnamon interior as well. It is such a beautiful color for leather. And Props to you I wish I could get the new gen M3. I am still hoping they come out with another CSL even though it was "canceled" or at least they better come out with a competition package like last time.

Good thing only the Z4, X5/X6's are made in the US (at least for the most part).

I have "german" paint from Bravaria. :headbang: But your right on the paint specific waxes. I just want it becuase it was formulated for my car and I can tell people that, not that I actually thing it will be that much better. lol.

I still would love to have an E46 M3 CSL here in the states! Still probably one of my favorite cars even though its not the quickest or fastest.

I kind of miss the darker color like Carbon black. While it was a pain to maintain and would get 'dusty' just sitting the garage undriven for a few days, it was awesome just after washing/detailing! AW is certainly easier to maintain, but I miss the depth of darker colors. I like the Jerez black which reminds me of the Carbon black metallic. I really like the Interlagos blue though. Would be great with cinnamon.

I just have to have cinnamon. Probably would keep from buying one if I cant get the cinnamon! Sorry to turn your thread into a BMW thread. :thumb:

    Cinnamon!!

Bence, I'm sure my Luthien would know! If I were to rub onto her a Swissvax wax especially formulated for black Honda S2000s--and only for black Honda S2000s--I know she would purr in ecstatic delight and blink her lights at me ... But perhaps I'm guilty of personifying her just a bit too much.

    Cheers,
    Al

Yeah I love the E46 CSL, but I was talking about the E92 CSL that they where testing on the N-ring but then "cancelled" the project. I really hope that isn't true.

Yeah I definitely know what you mean about darker colors it will be interesting to see which way I got in a year or two.

No problem I just hope everyone else doesn't mind. I always enjoy car talk. :giggle:

I think he mentioned recently that Swissvax may stop sending to the USA because its close so close to concorso, so its possible we have seen the last of Smaragd in the US :(

I just sold a pot and will hold on to my last one!
