    whats up.

hey, I have been doing a lot of details lately where the trim is just hideous. I've tried a few products, and nothing seems to last more than a couple days.

Does anyone have any brands they could recommend?

Also, anything that I could use on the faded black plastic that you find on a lot of ford trucks?
I hate when I wax a car and its looking all great except for the faded black rubber/plastic.

And being that is getting hot out now, I think a could trim restorer would allow me to add more $$ to the price

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would either go with a dye like Forever black or even black wow.

I am running a side by side test between Black Wow and Poorboy's Trim Restorer. At the moment, PB's is holding is own and actually looks better.

They both ran on the paint after several rains.

I hope the detailing gods don't strike me down for saying this, but I have had very good luck with Meguiars Trim Restorer/detailer. Make sure you rub it in really well. It is found at most parts stores here in SW Ohio and paint supply shops and is about 10 bucks. A little goes a long ways!
